Lorax Paper

Answer one of the following questions in the form of a 500-750 word essay. Be sure to incorporate at LEAST 3 scenes/ideas from The Lorax as well as real-life examples. You do not have to cite the movie but do include any other citations.

4. From Santa Clara University: “ "Business ethics" is sometimes said to be an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms. Some have argued that we should regard business as a cutthroat game like poker and not expect the players to abide by normal ethical rules like honesty.” Many scholars of ethics, however, have stated that it is always in the company’s best interest to be ethical and socially responsible. Why is it, then, that businesses will choose unethical behaviors or will make decisions that are not socially responsible? Use examples from the movie and from real businesses.
